Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific cancel some flights

MANILA, Philippines – Some flights of Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific were canceled on Wednesday due to bad weather.
The grounded Air Philippines flights, as posted by the Department of Transportation and Communications’ Twitter account, were:

The Cebu Pacific flights cancelled were:

5J-902 Caticlan-MNL

A low pressure area was spotted near Oriental Mindoro midday Wednesday. Moderate to occasionally heavy rains, meanwhile, were forecast over Mindoro Provinces and Northern Palawan including Coron Island, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The southwest monsoon is also affecting central and southern Luzon and Visayas.
