IN celebration of the Senior Citizens Month, the Golden Center of Cebu Inc. (GCCI) will hold a lecture on “Personhood and Caring: Honoring the Older Persons’ Life Journey” on Oct. 2 at the Sacred Heart Center on D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City.
Topics of human interest include: Implications of an aging population, Are you ready to be 120 years old?, Gerontologic Nursing: New breed of nurses, The future of home health care business, Elderly maltreatment, Laws for senior citizens, The aging grain and Zumba Gold.
This event will be a gathering of multi-sectoral associations of doctors, nurses, midwives, nutritionists, educators, and other allied medical sciences, students and members of nongovernment organizations and various civic and government agencies.
