Bear still with monsoon rains, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—Monsoon rains will continue to affect Central and southern Luzon and the Visayas, the state weather bureau said early Wednesday.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon provinces), Bicol Region, Palawan and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its morning bulletin.
The Mindoro provinces, however, will experience moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides, according to Pagasa.
Based on Pagasa’s extended weather outlook, cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms are forecast for Metro Manila and Subic until Friday.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
