1 dead, 2 hurt as wall collapses in Quezon City

A wall of a building in Novaliches, Quezon City, that was being demolished collapsed Sunday morning, killing a passerby and sending two more to the hospital.

Mark Errol Politano, a 23-year-old bank worker and resident of Fairview, Quezon City, died on the spot after strong winds due to Typhoon “Mina” pushed down the wall in Barangay (village) Nova Proper, Quirino Highway.

Alvira Concepcion , 21, the cook of an eatery that was situated near the two-story-high wall, was injured, along with a co-worker identified as Vicente Abaga, 33.
