2 FOREIGNERS FOUND DEAD
AN AMERICAN national was found dead in his house in Laray Coastal View Subdivision in barangay San Roque, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
Malcolm Charles Moore, 71, was already dead when he was found by his wife lying in his bed Monday morning.
The wife told police that the American had a heart condition and was suffering from diabetes.
Another foreigner was found dead in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.
Robert Biun was already lifeless inside the bathroom when he was found by a friend at his house in sitio Abuno.
Derk Ploeger, a Dutch national, said he went to Biun’s house to check on him after the American failed to answer his phone calls.

MAN NABBED FOR RAPE
A MAN was arrested Monday morning for allegedly raping the niece of his wife several times in Tudela town off Camotes Island, Cebu.
Complaints for violation of Republic Act 7610, a law protecting children against abuse, exploitation and discrimination were filed yesterday against the suspect.
The victim, a special child, was left by her mother alone in their house when she went to the market early morning of Monday.
When the mother arrived, she noticed that her daughter was not home.
She looked for the child and saw her went out of her uncle’s house. This made the mother believe that her child was abused.
The girl then revealed that she has been abused by her uncle several times for more than a year but she did not inform her mother because her uncle threatened to harm her.
The mother immediately reported the incident to the police who arrested the suspect aboard a boat bound for Danao City. /Correspondent Christine Emily L. Pantaleon
