Body of missing girl found floating on Pasig River

Police retrieved Saturday the body of a 19-year-old girl who went missing after the boat she was in capsized in the Pasig River past midnight on Friday.

Police said that the body of Michelle Montero of Wawa in Taguig was fished out of the waters in Purok 2, Barangay Pineda.

Residents nearby saw her body floating and alerted the police.

Investigation showed that Montero and three male companions had gone on a boat ride for fun after a drinking spree on Friday when their boat capsized. Kristine Felisse Mangunay
