Stream, Aegis rip foes
TITLE contenders Stream Ingenyouity and Aegis Vipers had little trouble in dispatching their opponents last Sunday in the 2013 E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
Stream, the defending champion, hammered the Eperformax Reds, 73-59, while the Vipers posted a merciless 106-42 drubbing of the Executive Boutique Lycans.
Reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Sylvester Millevo led Stream’s ninth win in 10 games with 18 points, five rebounds and two steals.
Stream outscored Eperformax in the second and third quarters, 43-21, to take a commanding 63-41 lead into the fourth.
John Alexon Loon was the lone Eperformax player to score in double figures with 18 as the Reds dropped to 5-9 (win-loss).
Aegis, meanwhile, was relentless in the entire game and finished off Executive Boutique with a crushing 41-10 assault in the fourth to seal its fifth win in nine games.
