Did you know: Enrollees in TVET programs

The National Capital Region posted the highest number of enrollees for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs in 2011 with 16 percent (244,668 of the total 1.6 million enrollees), according to the latest data from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. NCR is followed by Central Visayas (204,162) and Calabarzon (190,170). TVET programs include formal, nonformal and informal education to provide students with skills for employment.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
