SWU belles log fourth straight win

THE SOUTHWESTERN University (SWU) Lady Cobras continue to march towards a clean sweep of the elimination round as they grabbed their fourth win in a row after sweeping the Cebu Doctor’s University (CDU) in the 2013 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. women’s volleyball tournament Monday night at the University of San Carlos (USC) gym.

The Lady Cobras of head coach Jordan Paca thrashed the debuting CDU belles in convincing fashion, 25-22, 25-12, 25-20, to remain as the only undefeated squad in the women’s competition.

At 4-0 (win-loss), SWU is now just a win away from sweeping the elimination round.

In the girls’ division, USC won its second consecutive game as it got past the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, 25-18, 25-19. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
