MANILA, Philippines – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has finished its inspection of the Makati City Jail.

Senior Superintendent Roberto Fajardo, CIDG-NCR Chief, said “pag-uusapan pa muna” (it would be discussed first) when asked by reporters how the inspection went.

He declined to elaborate further and got on their vehicle after leaving Makati City Jail just past 6:10 p.m.

CIDG inspected the designated jail for Janet Lim-Napoles at the Makati jail.

The Makati Regional Trial Court earlier ordered the transfer of Napoles from the Philippine National Police (PNP) National Headquarters in Camp Crame to the Makati City Jail.

Napoles has been detained at the PNP National Headquarters since Wednesday after surrendering to President Benigno Aquino III.

Fajardo earlier told reporters in Camp Crame that they need first to ensure the security in Makati City Jail before transferring Napoles.

Napoles has a warrant of arrest for the illegal detention of Benhur Luy. She is allegedly the mastermind behind the billion-peso pork barrel scam.
