MANILA, Philippines—It seems to be business as usual at the Philippine National Police’s national headquarters in Quezon City Thursday morning, where Janet Lim Napoles, the alleged brains behind the pork barrel scam, is believed to be detained.

As of 10 a.m., police officials and civilians were seen going in out of Camp Crame building but officials authorized to speak about Napoles could not be seen.

Members of the Special Action Force in full battle gear were reportedly inside the building.

Across the office at the parking lot, media vans could be seen. Members of the media were  also there waiting for any update.

PNP spokesperson Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac said early Thursday in a text message to reporters that all updates about Napoles would be given by Malacañang.
