MANILA, Philippines — People at the Manila City Hall were made to vacate the building following an alleged bomb threat at the area Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Superintendent Orlando Mirando, Manila Police District-Station 5 commander, said police authorities received the report on the bomb threat around 5 p.m.
He said the information was received by MPD’s District Tactical Operations Center.
However, it was still unclear as to where exactly at the Manila City Hall was the alleged explosive seen.
A team from MPD’s Ordinance and Explosive Division has been sent to check the area.
No other information was available.
