THE Licensing Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Mandaue City has reduced their daily processing of drivers’ licenses by as much as 30 percent for more than a week now.

Ferdinand Bustillos, the licensing chief of LTO Mandaue explained that because they are still waiting for their Manila Office to reactivate four other job order employees of the Mandaue City government.

Normally, Bustos said their office is capable of processing 150 transactions a day. But because of the staff shortage, they have been limited to only 100.

“Hopefully by next week our operations will normalize so that there won’t be a lot of backlog,” he added.
