Fire hits residential area in San Juan
MANILA, Philippines—Fire struck a residential area in San Juan City Wednesday morning, an officer from the National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection said.

Firefighters put out the blaze that hit a residential area at the corner of J. Abad Santos and V. Cruz Streets at around 10:50 a.m., Fire Officer 3 Louie Abenales said.
Fire investigators had yet to determine the extent of damage and the cause of the blaze which started at around 10:29 a.m., he said.
About 10 firetrucks were sent to battle the fire, which reached first alarm before it was contained, he said.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident, Abenales said.
