Work in all courts in Metro Manila suspended Tuesday; hearing on RH law rescheduled
MANILA, Philippines—Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has again ordered the suspension of work in all courts in Metro Manila on Tuesday owing to the continual monsoon rains that have caused the flooding of several streets in the metropolis.
The work suspension, running for the second working day this week, covers the Supreme Court and the lower courts, as well as the Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan and the Court of Tax Appeals.
The high court has also moved the oral argument on the controversial RH law to Aug. 27 at 2 p.m.—Tetch Torres-Tupas
