LTFRB chairman Nelson Laluces resigns—report
MANILA, Philippines – Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Nelson Laluces has resigned, a report on 990AM said Tuesday.
Quoting Lawyer Manual Iway, LTFRB board member, the report said Laluces stepped down from his post to give Department of Transportation and Communication (DoTC) secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas a free hand in choosing the people he would like to work with.
The report said that Laluces informed Roxas of his intention to last week, which Roxas accepted.
The report said Roxas, however, did not accept LTFRB executive director Dante Atienza’s resignation.
