Classes suspended in Metro Manila, other affected areas due to tropical storm ‘Labuyo’

MANILA, Philippines—Classes are suspended Monday in the following areas due to Tropical Storm “Labuyo”:

Metro Manila

•   Manila: All levels, public and private schools
•   Makati: Preschool to high school, public and private schools
•   Mandaluyong: Preschool to high school, public and private schools

•   Taguig City: Preschool to elementary, public schools only

•   Pasig : Preschool to elementary, public and private schools
•   Valenzuela(Wawang Pulo, Balangkas, Pariancillo Villa, Palasan, Arkong Bato, Polo,    Poblacion, Tagalag, Bisig, Isla,  Rincon, Pasolo, Mabolo, Malanday, Dalandanan, Coloong, Malinta): Preschool to elementary, public and private schools

•   Las Piñas: Preschool to high school, public and private schools

•   Malabon City: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   Marikina: Preschool to high school, private and public

•   Muntinlupa: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   Navotas: Preschool to high school, public schools

•   Parañaque City: Pre-school to high school, public and private

•   Pasay: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   Pasig: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   Pateros: Preschool to college, public and private

•   Quezon City: Preschool to college, public and private

•   San Juan: Preschool to college, public at private

•   Caloocan: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   UP Diliman: High school to college

•   UP Manila: All levels as well as offices

•   New Era College, Quezon City

Outside Metro Manila

•   Tanay, Angono and Cainta, Rizal : Preschool to elementary, public and private schools

•   Tagaytay: Preschool to elementary, public and private schools
•   Bulacan: Preschool to elementary, public and private schools
•   Abra: Preschool to elementary, public and private schools
•   Batangas: Preschool to elementary, public and private schools

•   Cavite Province: Preschool to college

•   Laguna: Preschool to college

•   Obando, Bulacan: Preschool to college

•   San Mateo, Rizal: Preschool to college, public and private

•   Antipolo City: Preschool to high school

•   Angeles city: Preschool to high school

•   Dagupan city: Preschool to high school, public and private

•   Tanay, Angono and Cainta, Rizal : Preschool to elementary, public and private schools

Under Executive Order No. 66 issued by President Benigno Aquino in 2012, suspensions of classes are automatic in areas under storm signal.

Signal No. 1: No classes in Kindergarten

Signal No. 2: No classes in elementary and high school
