THE Toyoflex Cebu Foundation donated P50 million to the Cebu City government for the upliftment of the city’s public library on Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.

This was announced by Mayor Michael Rama in a press conference last Aug. 7 after his one-week trip to Fukuoka, Japan to observe the operation of a retirement facility by a private firm there and determine the viability of operating a similar facility at the South Road Properties.

The donation will be used for the foundation of the building, purchase of computers, books and other equipment.
