Law conference set Aug. 16-17

MANILA, Philippines—The Legal Education Board (LEB) and Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS) invite all law deans and law professors to attend their annual Legal Education Conference on Aug. 16-17 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City.

This year’s conference, hosted by University of San Carlos College of Law, has the theme “Philippine Legal Education and the Profession: Preparing Our Students for the Practice of Law and Leadership in Society.”

The conference seeks to foster dialogue on important issues affecting legal education.

Chief Justice Maria Lourdes P. A. Sereno will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker. Associate Justices Arturo D. Brion and Roberto A. Abad will also be speaking at the conference.
