EXPLOSIVES FOUND IN CEBU CITY
A 15-INCH vintage bomb and a hand grenade were found by children scavenging in barangay Sapangdaku, Cebu City.
Police said the explosives were found past 11 a.m. yesterday near a construction site.
Barangay officials turned the explosives over to the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team for proper disposal.
SPO1 Michael Samoranos, an operative of SWAT, said it was not the first time that explosives were found in the area.

Paula Cardona was accused of destroying the things inside her room at Pado Beach Resort where she had been staying for 11 days before the incident happened yesterday morning.
Cardona complained to the resort management that she didn’t like the resort’s tablecloths.
The woman allegedly ripped off the tablecloths and was reprimanded by Resort manager Jasper Amores Bulgar.
Bulgar told the guest that they appreciated her suggestion of having the tablecloths changed but she had no right to implement her suggestions.
After being reprimanded, the woman went to her room.
Inside the room, Cardona allegedly smashed the glass windows and destroyed the door.
The management then called the police.
Damage in the hotel was not immediately determined.
