THE two-round infighting battle between Milan “Metodico” Melindo and Philippine light flyweight champ Jerson Mancio capped the public sparring session at the Pacific Mall in Mandaue City last Saturday, which was held to promote the much anticipated eighth edition of the Pinoy Pride: Philippines vs Mexico slated Sept. 10 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

Melindo will face Mexico’s Francisco Rosas for the WBO Intercontinental flyweight crown in the card’s main event.

The mall crowd also got to see WBO Youth Asia-Pacific light welterweight champ Jason “El Nino” Pagara spar with newly crowned Philippine super featherweight champ James Bacon.
