Firm launches mobile computer classroom

/ 02:21 AM July 30, 2013

An organization has launched a mobile computer classroom to serve individuals in far-flung areas who want to study and learn the basics in computer education.

Cesar J. Manuel, national president of the Philippine Resource Organization for Information and Communications Technology (PRO-ICT), explained that computer education must be enjoyed not only by those who could afford to enroll in computer schools.

“We have designed a fully air-conditioned bus-sized vehicle equipped with 30 computer sets plus instructors who will travel to different areas to hold free computer classes,” Manuel said.

He added that they prepared a three-hour educational module on essential lessons using basic computer software. “The mobile computer class is very practical because learners will have actual computer studies without attending costly formal computer classes,” he said.
