CDO bombing suspect seen in video

MANILA, Philippines – The suspect who allegedly planted the explosive device that went off last Friday in Cagayan de Oro City has been captured in a video footage, police said on Monday.

In an interview with Radyo Inquirer 990AM, Superintendent Michael John Deloso of Cagayan de Oro Police Office said the suspect was captured in a video footage of a security camera installed at the Vicinity of Limketkai mall where the blast occurred around 11 p.m. Friday.

Deloso said the suspect, whose name is yet to be determined, pretended to be a customer at the Kyla’s Bistro. He ordered a bottle of beer there, and went to the comfort room, Deloso said.

Earlier reports had it that the explosive device was concealed in a black bag on a black monoblock chair outside Kyla’s.

“May witness tayo na maganda ang visual site doon sa suspect (We have a witness who had a good view of the suspect),” Deloso said.
