The driver of a tricycle (San Jose #45) charged us P30 from Parco Grocery on Del Monte Avenue to Igdalig Street, Manresa, Quezon City. The distance is less than one kilometer.—Joel, 42, Quezon City
Lax security
Please step up security in Philippine National Railway trains. The security guards are too lax.—Lawbert, 22, Muntinlupa
Forgotten promises
Barangay officials of Project 7, Quezon City, seem to have forgotten that our neighborhood in Saint Anthony Village still exists. Security in our place is so bad, with holdups, snatching and thefts occurring very often. The intersections on Lanutan Street are also prone to accidents with tricycle and motorcycle drivers whizzing through these like speed maniacs, not even bothering to check whether or not there is a vehicle coming from the other side of the intersection. Barangay officials aren’t doing anything about these problems even though they made a lot of promises during the campaign period.—James Lorenzo, 38, Quezon City
