Man crushed to death by trailer truck

MANILA, Philippines—A man died after being run over by a truck in Caloocan City on Friday morning.

The Caloocan Police identified the victim as Camilo Vega, a 54-year-old tricycle driver and resident of San Diego Street, Caloocan City.

Investigation showed that the incident happened at around 9 a.m. along C-3 Road near Talakitok Street.

Police reports showed that the victim was attempting to cross C-3 when he was hit by the Isuzu trailer truck (license plate no. RDL 791).

He was then run over by truck’s left rear wheel, crushing him to death.

Upon investigation, the police found out that truck, with an attached trailer (license plate no. LEU 812), was driven by Josefino dela Cruz and is registered to Rodante Condez of Hasa-Hasa Street, Kaunlaran Village, Malabon City.

A police investigation into the incident was still ongoing.
