House boy accused of raping co-worker in Lapu-Lapu
A 22-YEAR-OLD house boy was arrested after he allegedly raped his co-house helper in barangay Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City.
Danilo Gumera threatened the victim with a knife during the alleged rape, said police.
The 22-year-old victim told police that she was sleeping in her room when the suspect barged in around 10 p.m. Saturday.
The victim said the man was already on top of her when she woke up.
The woman said she tried to resist but the suspect pointed a knife at her and threatened to kill her.
The woman said the man left after the abuse, giving her a chance to seek help from a neighbor.
The workers’ employers were not around during the incident, police said.
Operatives of the Pusok Police Station arrested the suspect shortly after receiving the complaint.
PO1 Jane Mandolin said the woman was brought to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City for examination.
