Beware of traffic build up on five points along Edsa and on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City this weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised motorists, as the  Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will be doing road repairs and reblocking in Quezon City, Mandaluyong and Caloocan starting Friday night until early morning of Monday, July 8.

The repairs will affect the northbound lane of Edsa, from the corner of Fema Road to Kaingin footbridge in Quezon City, and the stretch from the corner of G. de Jesus to Malvar Street in Caloocan.

On the southbound lane of Edsa, the DPWH will be reblocking the following stretch of roads:  From Kaingin Road to Dario Bridge in Quezon City; from the corner of Boni Avenue to Mayon Street in Mandaluyong City, and from the A. de Jesus U-turn slot to just before J. Mariano Street in Caloocan City.

The reblocking on Commonwealth Avenue will be on the southbound lane, from the corner of North Susana up to Luzon Avenue. Jaymee T. Gamil
