MANILA, Philippines—The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority advised motorists to expect a buildup of traffic at six points along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue where road recblocking and other repair works are scheduled to be carried out during the weekend.
Starting Friday evening (July 5), the Department of Public Works and Highways will be reblocking five sections on Edsa in Quezon City, Mandaluyong and Caloocan, and on a portion of Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
The repairs will continue until the early Monday (July 8), the MMDA said in an advisory.
The repairs will be conducted on the northbound lane of Edsa, from the corner of Fema Road to the Kaingin Footbridge in Quezon City, and the stretch from the corner of G. De Jesus Street and Malvar Street in Caloocan City.
On the southbound lane of Edsa, the DPWH will be reblocking the stretch from Kaingin Road to Dario Bridge in Quezon city, from the corner of Boni Avenue to the corner of Mayon Street in Mandaluyong City, and from the A. De Jesus U-turn slot before J. Mariano Street in Caloocan City.
The reblocking on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City will be on the southbound lane, from the corner of North Susana up to Luzon Avenue.
