Carolino, Ramirez share top honors

JOBERT Carolino dominated the 18-kilometer race of the Columbia Eco Trail Run at the Danasan Eco Park in Danao City, northern Cebu.

Carolino outran Bonifacio Monjas for the title. Michael Largo placed third.

In the distaff side, Dumaguete City’s Mereeis Ramirez crossed the finish line first followed by Jhean Andrin and Cristy Tutor.

Joel Delposo, meanwhile, captured the title in the 12k division by finishing just a split second ahead of multi-titled ultra marathoner Gieter Bada. Both finished in 1:13.04 but according to the technical team, Delposo edged Bada in their official timer.
