MANILA, Philippines — A 61-year-old security guard died after he was found with multiple stab wounds and bruises Tuesday morning outside a compound in Quezon City.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Rhic Pittong said Rodrigo Tadiarca was found lying bloodied in front of the property he was guarding at the corner of Quezon and D. Tuazon Avenues in Barangay (village) Doña Josefa.

Pittong said Tadiarca, a resident of Caloocan City, was discovered at around 4 a.m. by Rodel Bingayen, a fellow guard, just a few feet away from where the victim usually sat outside the compound along Quezon Avenue.
