2,000 participants vie in Hunat Sugbo Run today

AROUND 2,000 runners will answer the starting gun in today’s ‘Third Hunat Sugbo Run: Dagan Para ni Maning’ of the Parklane International Hotel starting at the Ayala Terraces.

Around 700 runners will take on the challenge of the premier 21-kilometer half marathon including Cebuano elite runners going up against the vaunted Kenyan runners in the P100,000 race. Aside from the 21k event, shorter distances like 10k and 5k will also be featured in today’s running event.The proceeds of the run will go to the hotel’s medical mission scheduled on July 6 with the partnership of Jesu Cristi Community of Cebu and the Gualandi Volunteer Service Programme Inc.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G.
