Power restored after ‘emergency interruption’ in Pasig City

MANILA, Philippines—Several villages in Pasig City were without electricity for 22 minutes Thursday afternoon following an “emergency power interruption,” the Manila Electric Company announced.

Power was restored at 4:07 p.m. to Ortigas Commercial Center, San Antonio Village, Valle Verde Phase 4, Barangay Oranbo and Barangay Ugong, Meralco said on Twitter.

“If power has not been restored in your area, please text us at 09209716211 or 09175516211 so we can make the necessary report,” it said.
