San Sebastian, FEU suspend afternoon, evening classes
MANILA, Philippines — Two schools in Metro Manila suspended their afternoon and evening classes Wednesday amid fears of rains and floods.
“Classes are suspended effective 4:30pm,” San Sebastian College-Recoletos announced on its official Twitter account (@SSCROfficial).
It later said that classes for the College of Law were not suspended.
Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila has also announced the suspension of evening classes according to the official Twitter account of the FEU central student council.
According to (@FEUCSO1314) “Evening classes (starting 6pm) in FEU Manila are SUSPENDED due to forecast of heavy rainfall tonight. -Far Eastern University -Official Page.”

Tropical Storm “Emong” continued to maintain its strength as it moves northward and out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, Tropical Storm Emong was last seen at 400 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes, and was packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour
Emong is expected to leave the PAR Thursday morning if it continues to move in its present speed at 19 kph, Pagasa said.
