Kabang’s owner given house and lot by Zamboanga city government

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — The city government has given a house and lot to the owner of hero dog Kabang.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Bunggal said he felt like he won the lottery when Mayor Celso Lobregat on Tuesday gave him a housing unit in a resettlement area in the village of Tulungatung here.

The housing unit, including its lot, is worth P140,000.

Lobregat said Bunggal’s stay in the resettlement area came “with the condition that he will take good care of Kabang.”
