UST, UE make Filoil semis

THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers and the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors advanced to the semifinals of the 2013 Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Cup after beating respective opponents in the quarterfinals yesterday at the Arena in San Juan City.

UST bounced the Arellano University Chiefs, 83-73, while UE defeated the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 66-58. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
