OWWA to mark Migrant Workers Day

Wellness activity lined up for OFWs

THE Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will celebrate nationwide the “Migrant Workers Day 2013” on June 7, in recognition of the contributions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to the country.

In Region 7, OWWA will hold a Zumba party on June 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu to promote wellness among the OFWs and their families.. Anna Fegi will entertain the crowd with her singing performances.

OFWs and their dependents have to register for free ticket at OWWA regional office on the second floor of DOLE-7 building on Gorordo Avenue corner General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City with contact numbers 2543199 and (0918) 9214925 and look for Jeffrey Signo or Deniza Espejo.
