Cebuanos make Master Game Face All-Star roster

TWO FORMER PLAYERS from the junior ranks of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) were named to the All Star squads of the Master Game Face All Star Basketball Challenge slated June 8 at the Arena in San Juan City.

The game serves as the all star event of the ongoing Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Cup.

Incoming Ateneo rookie Jerie Pingoy was selected by team captain Chris Tiu to be part of his squad while former Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu standout and current University of the Philippines guard Henry Asilum was named to the opposing squad skippered by Borgie Hermida.

Tiu’s squad is composed of Juami Tiongson, Chris Newsome and Kiefer Ravena of Ateneo, Jeron Teng, Kib Montalbo, Arnold Van Opstal, Norbert Torres, Jason Perkins of La Salle, Letran’s Raymund Almazan and Mark Cruz, University of the East’s Roi Sumang, Adamson’s Jericho Cruz and Roider Cabrera and the UST’s Aljon Mariano, Karim Abdul, Jeric Teng and Kevin Ferrer.

Hermida’s squad is comprised of San Beda’s Baser Amer, Rome Dela Rosa, Anthony Semerad, Kyle Pascual, David Semerad and Ola Adeogun, Far Eastern University’s Carl Bryan Cruz, RR Garcia and Mike Tolomia, National University’s Bobby Ray Parks, St. Benilde’s Paolo Taha and Jonathan Grey, UP’s Andrei Paras and Emilio Aguinaldo University’s Jan Jamon.
