Kaya FC extends win streak

KAYA FC stretched its winning streak to four after beating the Philippine Army, 6-0,  in the U17 of the UFL Youth League last Sunday at the Bonifacio Global City.

The win allowed Kaya FC to post an unblemished 4-0 (in-loss) record for 12 points.

Former Little Azkals’ Javier Romero-Salas gave Kaya FC a slim one-point lead going into halftime.

In the second half, Romero-Salas fed the ball to Johnny McArtor for Kaya FC’s second goal before he once again found the back of the net to put Kaya FC up at 3-0. Dan O’Reilly came in as a substiute then immediately made his presence felt by scoring the fourth goal in the tournament.

Enzo Jalandoni, who was also sent in later in the match, was the fifth Kaya FC booter to have found the back of the net while O’Reilly sealed the team’s victory with his second goal in the tournament./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
