Boy electrocuted

A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy was electrocuted after he accidentally touched the wire of a  washing machine outside their house in barangay Cantabaco, Toledo City.

James Carl Camocamo was declared dead when he was brought to the Toledo District Hospital.

Before  the incident, the boy and his mother took a nap around 2 p.m. Friday.

When the boy woke up, he ran to the main door of the house.

The boy’s father followed and saw his son shaking while holding the washing machine’s wire.

The couple bought the second-hand washing machine from someone since the appliance was still working,  said SPO1 Thule Tahadlangit, investigator of Toledo police.

Police said someone  may have forgotten to unplug the washing machine after doing the laundry.

The boy’s parents were   engaged in buying and selling scrap metals./Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
