THE UNIVERSITY of the Visayas-manned Team Cebu will try to bounce back and gain revenge on Laguna as the two teams meet again, this time for the title, in the championship game of the Coca-Cola-PBA Youngstars National Championship.
Laguna waylaid Cebu in dominating fashion in their final elimination round game yesterday, 71-42, at the JCSGO gym in Quezon City.
Frederick Tungcab scored 22 points and Gio Calacalsada contributed 17 for Laguna, which ended the round with a clean 5-0 (win-loss) slate. Cebu fell to 4-1.
Gametime is set at 4 p.m. with Cebu aiming to claim the title after failing to do so last year, when they fell in the finals to the San Beda-powered Taytay.
