Chu Un temple to hold auditions for Siddharta musical US tour
THE Fo Guang Shan Chu Un Temple Cebu will hold auditions for two male lead singer and dancer, aged 10 to 12 years old, and lead singer and dancer and ensemble, who are females and males 18 years old and above.
The auditions will be tomorrow, May 25 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a briefing at 2 p.m. and on May 26 from 9 a.m. to noon with briefing at 9 a.m. All aspiring theater artists must be able to sing and dance.
Those qualified will form part of the ensemble that will be brought to the United States to perform for the “Siddhartha – A Musical Journey To Enlightenment.”
The Siddhartha Musical US Tour will be from Nov. 15 to Dec. 23.
Applicants with passports are preferred.
Rehearsals will be held from June to November every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and daily from November onwards.
