A former barangay chair who was a staunch supporter of outgoing Antipolo Mayor Nilo Leyble was killed on Tuesday night.

PO2 Dennis Reboldela said Rina Gabuna Juinio, 50, was watching television in her house in Sitio East Kamias, Barangay Sta. Cruz at 8 p.m. when a man barged inside and shot her in the face. The gunman then casually walked out of the house and escaped.

The victim was rushed to Antipolo District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival, the police said.
