Shot by neighbor

A 43-YEAR-OLD man was shot by his neighbor in barangay Tanke, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

Police said personal grudges could be the motive in the shooting of Roger Cantol Cantila, who was wounded in the chest.

The suspect, Greggy Padillo, 28, fled after the attack.

Police said Cantila was sitting on a bench outside his house when he was shot in the chest Sunday evening.

Motorist dies in bike collision 

A 44-YEAR-OLD man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with another motorcycle in a bridge in barangay Poblacion, Danao City, northern Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Romeo Hermosilla, 44, of barangay Guinsay, Danao.

The driver of the other tricycle, Noel Brigoli, 29, and his backrider, Rokie Brigoli, 22, were wounded.

Police said Hermosilla tried to overtake a pedicab on Tapilan Bridge but ended up colliding with the other motorcycle in the opposite lane.

The three were brought to the Danao Provincial Hospital where Hermosilla was declared dead, police said./CNU INTERN JESSANUE LUMAGBAS
