The Alaska Aces brought out the broom as they scored a clean sweep to bag championship crown of the 38th PBA Commissioner’s Cup last night before a mammoth crowd at the Araneta Coliseum.

Watched by a league-record of 23,436 fans, the Aces leaned on a back-breaking endgame kick to fashion out a 104-80 win over the Barangay Ginebra Kings, sweeping the best-of-five title series, 3-0.

It was Alaska’s 14th title in 27 finals appearances, cementing its reputation as one of the league’s winningest franchises.
