A TOTAL of 258 residents, both children and adults,  availed of free medical consultations from volunteer doctors from Perpetual Succour Hospital (PSH) during the community outreach program held last May 4 in sitio Camagong, barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
They were also given medicines and vitamins after the consultation.
The Philippine Society of Hospital Pharmacists (PSHP) headed by PSHP Eastern Visayas president and PSH’s chief pharmacist Arlene Miñoza spearheaded the activity, in coordination with the PSH’s Social Service Department and barangay health workers, for the less-fortunate individuals in its adopted community.
A representative from Servier Pharmaceutical Company offered random blood sugar testing, while Nestle gave out Nutren samples.
Aside from the free health services, the PSH’s Social Service Department headed by Venches Queque, Juliet Sanchez and Sr. Veronica Alvarez, SPC, also holds Basic Ecclesial Community formations and Holy Mass in Camagong every week.
