THE Reception and Study Center for Children of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD)  is requesting the public to help locate the parents and relatives of a newborn baby girl who was abandoned in Lapu-Lapu City.
The girl, given the name Johannah Jumamil, was found  by Anita Jumamil in sitio Eskwelahan, barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City last May 2 at 5:30 a.m.
The parents and relatives of Jumamil are requested to see social worker Rosalina Tatoy at the DSWD office at corner M.J. Cuenco Avenue and Gen. Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City or call her at 4167516.
Failure of the parties to appear or claim Jumamil within two months will subject the child for legal abandonment proceedings at the DSWD central office in Manila.
