Comelec set to proclaim Bam Aquino, Pimentel, Trillanes

MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), will proclaim three more winners in the senatorial race Friday night, Chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said.
He confirmed that Paolo Benigno Aquino IV, Aquilino Pimentel Jr, and Antonio Trillanes IV, ranked seventh, eighth and ninth, will be proclaimed.
As of 7:30 p.m., 117 certificates of canvass (COC) out of 301, or 38.87 percent, were received by the NBOC.
