Blazers take on Altas
Two teams that recently broke through the win column will be facing one another today as the Perpetual Help Altas and the St. Benilde Blazers collide in the 2013 Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Cup at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Blazers are coming off a 74-49 rout of the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons behind an impressive outing by Mark Romero, who tallied 25 points in just 25 minutes.
The Altas, meanwhile, defeated the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers, 84-59.
The two teams are tied in the standings with identical 1-3 (win-loss) records.
In other games, the Bombers look to bounce back when they take on the Adamson Soaring Falcons, a team that is coming off a 68-70 loss to the unbeaten National University Bulldogs.
