Espino leads in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — In the gubernatorial race in Pangasinan, unofficial and partial results from the monitoring of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) showed reelectionist Gov. Amado Espino Jr. leading Alaminos Mayor Hernani Braganza.

As of 9 p.m. Monday, Espino, a member of NPC, had 192,413 votes while Braganza of the Liberal Party had 70,016 votes.
