Man nabbed for gun, drugs
Police arrested a man who was caught possessing a gun and a pack of suspected shabu in barangay Caw-ou in Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City.
The man claimed that he is still 16 years old.
Police said the man was asked to show proof that he is still a minor as he could just trying to evade criminal liability.
Police said the man was driving a trisikad Friday afternoon when an object fell from his waist.
Two policemen who were in the area approached the man and found out that it was a .38 caliber revolver that from the man’s waist.
Police apprehended the man and brought him to the Lapu-Lapu Police Station 1.
At the police station, two small packs believed to contain shabu, two lighters, two tin foil strips and four empty plastic sachets were recovered from the man’s possession.
The man told police that he was in the barangay to attend a fiesta celebration.
